The cardigan was originally created by a clothing requirement of the British general James Brudenell. This cardigan is made in the Italian city of Perugia, which is located in the Umbria region, using only extrafine merino wool produced by Zegna Baruffa from Biella.

- Cashwool products can be washed by hand or, if machine washable, at a gentle wool cycle with a mild soap, at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees - always avoid hot water.
